Gray day

The gray continues
rain beating down
washing away pollen

My rainy tears have stopped
looking for a brighter day
understanding, but not
why it has to be this way

I had to be angry
to start to heal
vehemently stating
that which made me reel

So life goes
looking forward
to better things
